學前能力：
數位通訊是電子工程學系碩士班無線通訊組的一門核心基礎課程，最常被安排在碩士班一年級上學期的課程中。
因此對於研究所新鮮人修習這門課程，在大學時需修習通訊相關基礎課程，包括訊號與系統、通訊原理等，除此之外，還需有微積分、線性代數與機率等相關數學基礎。研究所課程的學習方式和大學課程有些差異，課程內容較深入，課程進度也較快，本課程更將大量使用數位教材，因此修課同學也需具備主動學習與自我學習的精神，方能獲得最好的學習成效。
